What is the project?> A collaborative animation project to recreate the opening scene of Winx Club as seen on 4Kids TV. Whatever you’re comfortable with. You can use your real name or a username/handle associated with your artwork. (or both!)How will I know I was selected to be on the project?All selected applicants will receive an email to their attached email address within a week of applying.Will we be able to choose our scenes?Yes! everything is first come first serve in order of the time I receive an email. When you’re accepted you can claim up to 2 shots.How many scenes can I work with?
When first accepted, animators can pick up to 2 shots, since most are very short. It is optional; you can just choose 1 if you'd like.How will I know what scenes are available to be picked?There will be a shot list available to reference at all times for requests. View what’s open right now at the link here!Can I change certain things such as camera angles, staging, animate into the extremes?Any editing is fine as long as the elements and the characters are intact, and the timing does not exceed the original amount of your shot. (i.e if your shot mp4 is 1 second long, you cannot go over 1 second of animation).I like to draw [x] character like this but it’s not exactly canon. Can I still draw them the way I like to?As long as the characters are recognizable and appropriate, feel free to redesign them as you please!What’s the final deadline before all the scenes are placed together?Once all shots are picked out, I will set a deadline for progress check-ins. There won’t be a premier deadline until all the shots are assigned.Can I add my own watermark/signature on the assigned scene(s)?No,, and yes. On the scene you turn in for the final comp, please do not add a watermark/signature/etc. All shots will have their artists name on them in a specific layout.
- If you post a wip, a video of your scene(s), etc., on your personal site, feel free to add a personal watermark/signature. also tag @Deevtoons and use #WinxIntroMAP so it’s easy to find and share your work around!Can I collaborate with another artist?
Yes, just be sure to inform me so I can properly credit all artists.Can I post wips, finished scenes, progress pieces on Insta or another website?
